PIMR Alumni Association successfully launched Delhi NCR chapter. The meeting was scheduled for March 16, 2024, Saturday, at Saket Social, Saket, New Delhi, from 06:30 pm onwards. 54 alumni based in Delhi NCR attended the meeting along with the undersigned and Sr. Director PIMR Indore. We had alums from the first batch until the recent pass-out batch of 2023. The briefing on the agenda of the meeting and recent alumni engagement initiatives was done by the undersigned. Sr. Director, Dr. Debasis Mallik briefed the alumni about the recent developments in the institute, new programs, MOUs and collaborations, infrastructural developments, and the vision of the institute for the coming few years. Mr. Puneet Gupta, Independent Director, UTI Retirement Solutions, was invited as the guest of honor. He interacted with the alumni and he emphasized the benefits of networking among alumni during his address. Alums across batches, interacted with each other, discussed opportunities, and extended their support for such initiatives in other major cities. They were also briefed about the PIMR Alumni App Prestigean and encouraged to use it to engage with each other and the institute.

The meeting was scheduled on February 18, 2024, Sunday at Powai Social, Powai (Mumbai). 52 alumni based in Mumbai and suburbs attended the meeting along with the undersigned and Sr. Director PIMR Indore. The briefing on the agenda of the meeting and recent alumni engagement initiatives was done by the undersigned. Sr. Director, Dr. Debasis Mallik briefed the alumni about the recent development in the institute, pertaining to new programs, MOUs and collaborations, infrastructural developments and the vision of the institute for the coming few years. Dr. Bhaskar Das, Chairman of Ideatelabs and a seasoned professional with four decades of experience and having served in the top leadership of many prestigious media houses was invited as a guest of honor. Dr. Das had a though provoking discussion with the alums about the need for constantly updating themselves for the dynamic challenges of the corporate world. Alumni, from the first batch of 1996 till the recent pass out batch till 2023 interacted with each other, discussed opportunities and extended their support for such initiatives in other major cities. They were also briefed about the PIMR Alumni App Prestigrean and were encouraged to use the same for engaging with each other and the institute.

Congratulations to Mr. Harit Oberoi, PIMR Alum MBA FT Marketing Batch 2002, for taking up a new position as Senior Executive Group Vice President at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. We wish him all the best for his new journey!

We are happy to share that Mr.Rajesh Agrawal, PIMR Alum BBA 1997 and MBA 1999 will be the Labor Party's candidate from Leicester East in the upcoming parliamentary elections in UK. Currently, he is the Deputy mayor of London for Business #Proud #Prestigean.

IQAC PIMR scheduled an interaction of PIMR alumni to discuss the vision and mission of the institute along with conducting an alumni survey on curriculum and to take their valuable feedback for the development of the institute was scheduled on May 27, 2023, Saturday at PIMR PG campus 7pm onwards. Dr. Pranay Karnik, Criteria Head for Alumni connect and Performance was given the responsibility to identify and invite some select alumni and employers who can give valuable inputs during this interaction. Alumni from the first batch of 1996 till batch 2021 were invited for the meeting in which 44 alumni from across batchers were present. After the formal lightening of the lamp, alumni were greeted with planters as a mark of affection. Alumni also extended a warm welcome to the head of the departments present in the meeting as a park of respect with bouquets. Dr. Raja Roy Chowdhary, Dean, PIMR PG campus shared the vision and mission of the institute along with the recent developmental activities. Dr. Rupal Chaudhary presented the curriculum of the MBA program which is being followed currently. Dr. Rashmi Gharia, member of Criteria 9: Alumni connect and performance, presented the alumni engagement activities being done till now. After this Dr. Pranay Karnik, head of Criteria 9 and the Secretary of the PIMR Alumni Association presented the upcoming alumni engagement activities of the institute along with the planning for alumni chapter meets in Mumbai and Delhi, identification of Batch Captains among alumni the new dedicated alumni portal of the institute. After this a survey was conducted among the alumni to take their feedback on the curriculum and to understand their career progression and the role of the MBA program in their respective careers. There was an interactive session to take the inputs of the alumni for the development of the institute.
